NWAI

New Wave Art Initiative (NWAI) is a platform that showcases undiscovered and emerging artists from diverse backgrounds. It was created as a milestone in more than ten years of work promoting Indian art, bringing together artists from the defence tri-services, from corporates, practising artists, and art-college students and graduates.

The initiative's aims are to promote diversity in art, encourage emerging talent, build skills, foster collaboration, give voice to underrepresented artists and strengthen community engagement.

Its programme includes art mentorship, exhibitions and outreach, workshops, masterclasses and residencies, community art projects, an online platform, and pathways that help artists build their careers.

Platform 11

Platform 11 (Platform Gyarah) was created with Digraj Golf as a forum for dialogue on social issues and how they inspire creativity across fields, especially the arts.

The first session brought together writer Javed Akhtar and litterateur Purushottam Agrawal, moderated by artist Manish Pushkale: a writer, a historian and a painter in conversation on a subject close to everyone's heart.

Italia Unica was an evening devoted to Italian culture, tradition and food. It featured a conversation with Angelo Garini, an architect and event planner known for creating customised events at historic Italian venues.

The dinner brought together Italian cuisine curated by the chef, with a setting that recreated the feel of a traditional Italian wedding: floral arrangements, linens, drapes and table settings.

Kaleidoscope

In July 2016 VEVA Art, together with Visual Impact, presented Kaleidoscope, following earlier editions in Kolkata, Pune, Delhi and Ahmedabad.

Artbeat was organised by VEVA Art as a fundraiser in aid of the OM Foundation, supporting student nutrition at the OM Foundation School in Noida. The preview was held at Olive Bar & Kitchen, and the works were later displayed at ArtEste Art Gallery. The show included traditional and contemporary work by artists from across India.
